Grants are available for charities and community schools operating within a 15 mile radius of a Moto site. Local Moto sites ‘adopt’ local charities to fund as their ‘Local Community Partner’.
Objectives of Fund
Funding supports a wide range of projects that are located within 15 miles of a Moto site.
The average grant given through the funding process is £1,000. Depending on the strength of an application and demonstration of commitment by both the Moto site and Partner, larger grants may be agreed.
Who Can Apply
Applications will be accepted from charities and community schools if they:
- Are located within a 15 mile radius of a Moto site.
- Have opportunities for Moto staff to be involved with their group/school.
- They are happy to support their Moto site with their fundraising events.
The locations of Moto sites can be found on the Moto website
The Trust does not support the following:
- Applications that are for the promotion of religion or politics.
- Overseas projects.
The Trust funds all types of projects provided they directly benefit the communities where Moto is present or where it has a significant staff catchment.
How To Apply
Local community partnerships run from 1 January to 31 December.
Applications are invited throughout the year.
Application forms are available to complete online at the Trust’s website.
