Grants are available for smaller local charities in Leicestershire and Rutland that are carrying out projects that assist people in need.
Objectives of Fund
The scheme aims to support people in need of all ages, particularly at risk groups and those that are socially isolated, disabled or poor.
The Trust has around £200,000 that it awards in charitable grants each year.
Funding is at the discretion of the trustees.
Match Funding Restrictions
Match funding is not a stipulated requirement of this scheme.
Who Can Apply
Charities working in Leicestershire and Rutland can apply.
Preference will be given to smaller local charities where the funding will make a difference rather than large national ones, although local activities of national charities could be supported.
Individuals are not eligible to apply.
Costs associated with eligible projects.
How To Apply
The Trust does not maintain a website. Applications must be made in writing and posted to the Florence Turner Trust.
