Grant Sources

Grants are available to charities registered in the UK that are carrying out projects that improve physical and mental welfare.

Objectives of Fund

The scheme is intended to support charitable organisations carrying out projects that improve physical and mental welfare.

Value Notes

Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees.

Although most grants are for between £1,000 and £3,000, in the past higher amounts have been awarded in exceptional circumstances.

Match Funding Restrictions

Match funding is not a specified requirement.

Who Can Apply

Charitable organisations in the UK are eligible to apply.


Funding is not available for the following:

  • Overseas projects.
  • Research

Eligible Expenditure

Costs associated with eligible projects.

How To Apply

The Trust does not maintain a website nor does it have a formal application form.

The trustee’s grant making policy is to react to appeals received and these are considered by the trustees on a monthly basis.

Charitable organisations are asked to submit appeals to the Trustees by letter containing the following:

  • Aims and objectives of the charity.
  • Nature of the appeal.
  • Total target if for a specific project.
  • Contributions received against target.
  • Registered charity number.
  • Any other relevant factors.
